Central Arizona Fire & Medical battles a house fire in Paulden

March 5, 2024

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office and Central Arizona Fire and Medical are investigating a blaze that destroyed a Paulden home Saturday afternoon.

Officials say that when crews arrived at the scene, on Curtis Ranch Road, the house was already engulfed in flames. The occupant said she had heard popping noises and could smell smoke, so she got out and went to her neighbor’s for help.

The house was a total loss, and investigators are still looking into how the fire started.
