Black Canyon City woman charged with threatening neighbor with hammer, knife

On Saturday, March 2nd, Yavapai County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call in Black Canyon City, where a man said his neighbor had chased him with a hammer and a butcher knife.


The victim reported that the suspect had smashed into his home prior to chasing him, and when deputies arrived, they found the woman still holding the weapons. She was arrested for aggravated assault and criminal damage, and the Sheriff’s Office did not release any initial information about the reason for the conflict.
