Tragic incident on Bear Mountain

In a tragic incident on Bear Mountain, 40-year-old Zaynad Joseph fell from a 140-foot cliff while hiking with her family. Despite immediate aid from fellow hikers and a quick response from Sedona Fire, Joseph succumbed to her injuries. Authorities have safely evacuated her husband and child and continue to investigate the cause of the fall. Witnesses are encouraged to contact the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office at 928-771-3260 with any information.
