Senator Mark Kelly to hold water infrastructure hearing in Flagstaff

Senator Mark Kelly will hold a hearing in Flagstaff Thursday morning, on water infrastructure in small and rural communities in the western United States.


The hearing will address the impacts of drought and destructive flooding, and highlight water infrastructure needs; with testimony from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and local leaders, including Flagstaff Mayor Becky Dagget, Navajo County Supervisor Alberto Peshlakai and Pascua Yaqui tribal Chairman Peter Yucupicio.


It will be the first Senate field hearing held in Flagstaff in over 20 years.
