A Prescott Valley woman reported missing by her uncle last week was discovered to be wanted for fraud and identity theft in multiple states.

According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, the uncle reported that he had not seen his niece in several days, and could not get a hold of her. He contacted her employer, who had received multiple text messages from the woman saying she would not be in to work. While the uncle was there, the employer received multiple calls from the missing woman’s number, but when she answered the phone, no one responded.

Upon investigation, a YCSO deputy discovered the niece had multiple warrants out for her arrest. She has not been located, and the uncle told the Sheriff’s Office she may be in Oregon.
