Sedona FD, DPS rescue injured hiker from Bell Rock

Sedona Fire District personnel and a DPS helicopter assisted an injured hiker on Bell Rock Sunday afternoon.


According to preliminary information from the District, crews hiked to the victim’s location and began medical treatment while the Ranger 3 helicopter was en route. They then hoisted the patient off of the mountain, and flew them to a local hospital for treatment.


The Fire District has not released any further details at this time.
