Pedestrian hit by car in Prescott on March 29 dies

A Prescott man who was hit by a car while crossing the street on March 29 has died from injuries.


The Prescott Police Department did not release the 82-year-old man’s name, but say they were informed by staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix that the man passed away Thursday morning.


The victim had been walking across Pleasant Street in Prescott, in a marked crosswalk, when he was hit by a vehicle turning left that failed to yield. The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
