The Cottonwood Fire Department advises the public to expect a brief closure of Fir Street, near Mingus Union High School on Thursday, April 4, for a safety demonstration.

The “Every 15 Minutes” program, teaching teens about the consequences of drunk driving, will involve a staged car accident, with fire crews responding as they would in a real-life situation.

Fir Street will be closed in front of the school from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m.
