As more people take advantage of the warming weather on local trails, the Flagstaff Police Department reminds the public that unattended vehicles pose a target for burglars.

Police remind you to always lock your vehicle; and either take valuables with you or hide them out of sight, locking them in the trunk if possible. They also ask everyone to report any suspicious activity around trailheads or other parking areas.
