The Coconino National Forest advises the public that the trailhead for two of Flagstaff’s most popular trails will be closed for two months, beginning Monday.

The Elden Lookout and Fatmans Loop trailhead will be expanded, rebuilt and repaved between April 8 and the end of May. The trails themselves will remain open, and can be accessed from the Flagstaff Ranger Station, via a short trail on the east side of the parking lot.
