CCSO to host Community Emergency Response Team training

February 16, 2024

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office will hold their annual Community Emergency Response Team training in Flagstaff next weekend, for residents who want to be able to help their community in the event of a large-scale disaster.

If first responders were unable to meet the demand for services during a major event, Response Team members would provide assistance in a variety of emergency situations.

The free training will take place February 23rd through the 25th in Flagstaff. Topics will include disaster preparedness, fire suppression, medical operations, search and rescue and more; concluding with a review and disaster simulation.

To sign up, or for more information contact CCSO at 928-821-1022; or email jpaxton@coconino.az.gov.
